Fixes:
Text for fields in Creation Station
Some fields have an explanation when you are in the Creation Station. However, when there was an explanation for an upload field for videos or images, the explanation got lost behind the crop tool. This is now fixed, so you can always see the explanation completely displayed. Click here for more information about the Creation Station.Tickertape page
On the page where you set tickertape, sometimes there was a large empty space below the dropdown of the tickertape and below that the fields appeared that you needed to fill in. This wasn’t user friendly. We changed the page, so the fields appear directly below the dropdown and you can clearly see what you need to fill in when using the specific tickertape. For more information about tickertape, click here.Uploading large image
When you uploaded a large image in the Creation Station, it got status failed after creating the clip. Large images cannot be processed by our system, so now we built in a message which tells you when you uploaded an image that is too large that you should upload a smaller image with the specifics of how large it should be maximum.New features:
See the players that are connected to a player group option
When you are scheduling as a mainuser or subuser, you can schedule with player groups. The player group options are displayed on the schedule page and you can check the checkbox to connect it to the schedule. From now on behind the player group options a number is displayed if there are one or more players connected to it on the player group page. When you click on the number, the players are displayed that are in this player group option, so you know to what players you are connecting the schedule. When you click on the number again, the pop-up with player names is closed again. Click here for more information about player groups.See in which playlist a clip is
When you created a clip and it is in the clip library, you can now see if it is scheduled in a playlist and if so, which playlist. All the clips that are in a playlist, from now on have a green triangle in the corner of the thumbnail on the clip library page. When you hover over the thumbnail with your mouse, a pop-up opens which displays in which playlists this clip is.Show duration of videos in your files
When you look on the your files page where you uploaded your own images and videos, you have some columns that display the name and type of file and such. Now it also has a column ‘length’ which shows the duration of the video files you uploaded. It shows in minutes and seconds how long the file is. For an image there is no duration, so for images the length field is empty.Disconnect media player through Partner Panel
When you are logged in with your Partner Panel, you now have the possibility to disconnect media players from your and your clients’ accounts. When you go to the player overview page and go into a player, you see an option at the bottom which says ‘disconnect player’. You can use this when you are swopping a defect player for a new player or if you want to connect a player to a different user. When you use this option, the Client Services will receive a message that the player is disconnected, so they can check with you if there is a license that needs to be shifted to a different location or if it can be stopped. Your users themselve cannot disconnect players; this is only possible from the Partner Panel account. Click here to learn more about the Partner Panel.Share clips through Partner Panel
When you are in the Partner Panel, you are now able to share created clips. If you create a clip in the Partner Panel, you now have an option in the first step of creation to make the clip available for all users or only for yourself/certain users. The checkbox ‘available for all users’ is automatically checked, so if you only want to have the clip available for the Partner Panel or some of the users, you should uncheck the option in the first step. If you unchecked it, you will get a page after saving the template on which you can check users that should get the clip available. If you don’t select any user, it will only be available for yourself. The users that get the clip shared, will see it back in the clip library in the tab ‘Partner’ in the clip library. As Partner Panel you can also share/unshare existing clips clicking on ‘edit’ for a clip and checking/unchecking the box in the first step. The Client Services can activate the sharing clips functionality for your Partner Panel.
