Tilted thumbnail
With some portrait fullscreen image templates there was an issue that they would show a tilted thumbnail in the clip library, instead of a portrait upright one. In the preview and on screen it did show correctly. We now made sure that in the clip library it also shows as it should be. Click here for more information about the clip library.PowerBlock name
When you created a new PowerBlock and gave it a name that already existed for a different PowerBlock, there was no error message when you tried to save it and then you weren’t able to save it. We now built in an error message which is displayed when you try to save a PowerBlock with a name that already exists. This way it is clear that you cannot save it because of the name. There is a functionality in the system which can be activated what will give you the possibility to copy the url of an image that you uploaded in my files, so you always have the image through an url. This functionality didn’t work properly. We now fixed it.User type
Before you couldn’t see the type of user that you are in your account; it always displayed ‘mainuser’. From now on it will show the correct user type when you open the menu below your account name (click on your account name right on top).Login through Facebook
In your Profile settings in tab [Social] you can connect different types of social media, so you can after that login into your narrowcasting account with your social media credentials. When trying to connect your account to Facebook, an error message was displayed and you couldn’t make the connection. We now solved the issue with this and you can now succesfully connect your Facebook account again. Click here for more information about the Profile section.Clip removed from playlist
When you have clip approval set as subuser by your mainuser and you edit an existing template, there is a pop-up message that informs you that when you edit the template, it will be removed from your playlist because it has to be approved again by the mainuser. You have the option to choose to proceed or to cancel. However, when you chose ‘cancel’, the clip was still removed from the playlist while this wasn’t supposed to happen. We fixed this, so now only when you select to proceed the clip will be removed from the playlist and otherwise it won’t. In the Partner Panel on the overview user page you weren’t able to order the users by clicking on the columns. Nothing would happen when you clicked on the column names. We changed it, so the columns are now interactive and you can order them on the column you want. Click here for more information about the Partner Panel.Crop images in Creation Station for widgets
When you used the cropping tool for images when creating a widget, the way you cropped the images wasn’t always visible on screen. So the cropping you did was not saved. We now made sure that it is saved, so your image will show on screen the way you cropped it.New features:
Schedule page single users
For single users we added a scroll bar on the schedule page. This way you can easily drag playlists to your schedule without having to scroll up and down the page. We also added an ordering dropdown at the top of all the playlists on this page, so you can order them by name or creation date. This way you can easily find the playlist you are looking for and you can determine the order you want to see them yourself instead of the system deciding it for you.Category clips displayed in playlist
When you create or edit a playlist, you can now also see a column ‘category’ with your clips on the right. It shows in which category you put the clip. You can also search on category by using the search tool to easily find certain templates you want to add to your playlist. If you didn’t set categories for your templates, the column will show empty. Click here to learn how to set categories.Set email notifications
You are now able to set email notifications for actions that are done in your account. This means you can determine yourself for what you receive a notification on your personal email address. In your Profile there is a tab [Messages] and here you will find an extra column [Receive through email]. You can check the checkboxes for which actions you would like to receive an email notification. These notifications will then be sent to the email address that is set in your account. If this is not the correct email address, please make sure you change it in your profile settings! Click here for more information about the message centre.Twin licenses visible
From now on you can see in your account when a media player has a twin license. A twin license is when you have two devices that are connected to each other and will show the same content; you schedule on only one device and the other device that is connected will automatically synchronize at the same time as the original device and will show the same content. The device that is set as twin is not visible in your account, because you do not need to schedule on it. In [Player Overview] you can see all your players and when you click on it, you can see in the overviews of setting ‘twin device’ with the player name behind it which is the twin.
