How can I connect my hardware to WiFi?

MEDIA PLAYER

  1. Attach the WiFi-antenna to the media player. Make sure it’s connected to a screen with the HDMI-cable.
  2. Connect a keyboard and mouse to the media player through the USB outputs of the media player.
  3. Turn the media player on (if it is already on, please restart). While starting up, the ‘basic settings’ menu will appear. Select ‘cancel autoplay’ at the bottom of the screenbefore the timer runs out. When it runs out before you clicked, you have to restart the player again to go back to the menu.
  4. Go to ‘network’, choose ‘wireless LAN’ and you will enter another menu. Make sure ‘WiFi’ is turned on by sliding the button to the right. The device will now search for wireless networks.
  5. After scanning, a list will appear with all available networks. Your network should be in this list. Select it with the mouse. The device will connect to the network; if this network is secured with a password, you can enter the password in the screen.
  6. Select ‘connect’. As soon as the device is connected, the network will go to the top of the list, stating it is connected. If it shows a ‘failed’ message, please try again: you might have entered the wrong password or selected the wrong network.
  7. When the device is connected, return to the main menu by selecting the second symbol to the left (left-arrow) in the black bar in the bottom of the screen. After 15 seconds, the scheduled playlist will show on screen.

If the settings on your screen do not match the settings described below, because you work with a different type (e.g. Tizen or newer version of SOC), then we advice you to check the factory settings of your screen provided by your supplier or to contact your supplier.
