The steps below describe what you can do when there is a connection issue, but content still appears on screen. When your player is offline and you have a black screen, click here. If you have connection issues with a media player, click here. If the settings on your screen do not match the settings described below, because you work with a different type (e.g. Tizen or newer version of SOC), then we advice you to check the factory settings of your screen provided by your supplier or to contact your supplier.
- Verify the internet connection of your monitor. Click on the ‘menu’ button on your remote control. Go to ‘network’ → ‘network status’. The connection is now being verified. Check your connections. In case you have internet through a cable, please check if the network cable is plugged in properly in the correct port at the back of the monitor. Press the cable a little further into the port. Verify again if you now have an internet connection. If not, go to step 2. In case your monitor has the option to connect to a WiFi network, use your remote control and select ‘menu’. Go to ‘network’ → ‘network settings’. Select that you want to make a wireless connection. Your monitor is now screening for networks, select the one you want to connect to and enter the password. The monitor is now trying to make a connection with the selected network.
- Check the network switch the monitor is connected to. Is it switched on? Restart the device if possible by pulling out the power cable for 10 seconds and put it back in. Note: The network switch might be connected to more than one device and these will all lose connection with internet for a moment when you restart.
- Turn the screen off and on again. At the back of the monitor there’s a power cable. Right above the power cable you will find the on/off switch. Turn the switch off and pull the power cable out of the monitor. Wait for 10 minutes, plug the power cable back in and turn the switch on again. The monitor should now automatically restart.
- Synchronize the hardware. Turn the screen off and on again with the remote control. It should show the content of your playlist. If not, please contact your supplier.
