Fixes:
Tilted preview
With the portrait widget ‘fullscreen image – 30 seconds’ the preview of the widget showed tilted in the clip library when clicking on the thumbnail. On screen it did show correctly upright. We now made sure that the preview shows upright too. Click here for more information about the clip library.Preview fullscreen video native
The widget ‘fullscreen video native’ didn’t show a preview in the clip library after creating it. It did show on screen. We added the possibility to show previews for this type of widgets, so you can preview the widget from now on in the clip library.Live preview of clip in Creation Station
There were some issues with the live preview in Creation Station. Sometimes the preview was shown rotated or options that you selected got deselected when the live preview loaded. We improved the live preview so it works correctly and fast when creating a template. Click here to learn more about the Creation Station.
NB: in order to make it work faster, we made a change in the crop tool. The crop tool will now not automatically open anymore (this strongly reduces the loading time) and you can open it by clicking on the pencil icon on the place where the crop tool was. After you made changes, you need to save them with the disk icon in order to go to the next page. If you click on next page without saving the changes to the image, you will get a pop-up saying that changes will be saved when you click ‘OK’. After clicking OK you will remain on the same page and the changes to the image are saved and you can go to the next step.Pagination in clip library
The clip library has pagination at the bottom of the page, but when you go to the next page, the button move a little bit and this way you cannot click on the same place twice to keep on moving forward through the pages. We changed the position of these buttons, so they stay in place all the time when you go to next or previous page.Playlists play on alphabetical order
When you are a mainuser or subuser, you can schedule playlists when you want but you cannot determine in what order they play. They were automatically ordered based on creation date. We now made it possible to have more influence on the order of playing by making them play on alphabetical order. So if you want to let a playlist play above another one, just make sure this playlists’ name starts with a letter earlier in the alphabet of with a low number. Do know that if you have a playlist that starts later than another one, the one that starts on a later date will always be shown at the bottom of the other playlists. If you want to activate this option, ask Client Services to do this. Click here to learn more about scheduling playlists.
NB: in order to make this possible, a new plugin was used for the calendar overview. Consequense of this is that single users won’t be able anymore to drag the playlist in the calendar to other days (make the playlist last days longer or shorter) with the mouse. This can now only be done by clicking on the calendar icon and filling in the start and end date.Connecting players to subusers
As mainuser you can add players to subusers by editing the subuser and selecting boxes for players you want to attach. However, when you have more than 10 players in the mainuser account, you couldn’t see all players because there was no pagination. We added the pagination now, so you can go to the next page to see the rest of the players. Click here to learn more about subusers.Thumbnail preview not changing
When you edit a template, you save changes and in the clip library you can see a thumbnail of this edited template and you can also open a preview by clicking on the thumbnail. When doing this, you could see the changes you made in the preview, but not in the thumbnail. For example if you changed the background color, you would still see the old background color in the thumbnail. This had to do with caching of the page and it is now fixed so you always see the latest changes you made to the template.Searching on ‘
When searching in a search bar on any page, you would never get results when you used ‘ to search with. We made it possible to search also with this symbol now.Switch for random/sequential order changes size
When you edited a playlist and refreshed the page, the switch for random/sequential order would become smaller. This was not supposed to happen, so we fixed it and it will always show the same size now. Click here to learn more about playlists.Active playlist when adding new clip to playlist
When you created a clip and selected in the Creation Station that it should be added to a new playlist, after saving the playlist it would become active automatically. If you haven’t filled in a schedule, it should not show as active, because it is not playing. We now made sure it won’t show as active on the manage playlist page.PowerPoint template
On the new clip page in the category ‘your own media’ there is a template for adding a PowerPoint. When clicking on this, it directed to an old page which wasn’t correct anymore. We changed the url in the backend so it will direct to a new accurate page. Click here to learn more about adding PowerPoint.New features:
Messages
The messages that you receive in your message inbox are automatically marked as read when you open the page the message is on. The number of unseen messages is shown with a number within a red circle next to the menu item ‘Your messages’. We added a new button on the messages page with which you can mark all messages as read all at once without having to scroll through all the pages of messages.
We also made it possible to delete messages on the Your Messages page and Log page. To the right of every message you can now find a trash bin with which you can delete the message. Click here to learn more about messages.Save as button for PowerBlocks
For playlists you can use a ‘save as’ button to make a copy of the existing playlist. For PowerBlocks we now also added this option. There is an extra button if you create/edit a PowerBlock that says ‘save as’ and you can copy the PowerBlock and fill in a name for the copied version. Click here to learn more about PowerBlocks.Attachment for tickets
You are now able to add attachment to Support tickets when you are replying to a message that was sent by Servicecenter. This way you can send a printscreen of where you are experiencing issues or a photo of your actual screen if it shows something incorrect. This way it will be easier to communicate for both you and Servicecenter. Click here to learn more about Support tickets.
