What can I do in the manage playlist section?

In the manage playlist section you have an overview of all your created playlists. If you work with subusers, you can also see all the playlists that your users created here.

Mainusers and subusers have different representation and options than a single user.

MANAGE PLAYLIST SECTION FOR MAINUSERS AND SUBUSERS

Mainusers and subusers will see two tabs: Own and Formula. Below the column ‘Own’, a user can view his own created playlists. Below the tab ‘Formula’ the other playlists are visible (if you are a subuser you can view the playlists that the mainuser made and if you are a mainuser you can view the playlists that all your subusers made).

Per playlist you can see on the left if a playlist is active at the moment or not. If it is active, the dot on the left is green and if it is inactive, the dot is red.

You can preview a playlist by clicking on the play button on the left. If you select this, a pop-up will appear and the clips that are in the playlist will show. You can switch to the clip you want to view by clicking on it.

If you want to schedule the playlist, you can click on the calendar icon on the left. This will direct you directly to the schedule page where you can set schedule settings. For more information about scheduling, click here.

You can edit a playlist by clicking on the playlists’ name. You are then able to edit the playlist (unless you are a subuser and the playlist is created by the mainuser).

In the columns you are able to find how many clips there are in a playlist below ‘item’, how long your whole playlist lasts below ‘length’, how the playlist is sorted (sequenced or shuffled) below ‘sort’, what the orientation of your playlist is below ‘orientation’, who created the playlist below ‘created by’ and when the playlist was last edited below ‘last modified’.

Below the column ‘action’ you can activate or deactivate your playlist by clicking on the checkbox. If there is a V in the checkbox, it means that the playlist is activated and will play on the scheduled settings. If the box is empty, it is deactivated and has to be activated in order to start playing. You can delete a playlist by clicking on the trash bin icon on the right.

Above the playlists there is a dropdown where you can select an option from which will show certain playlists. Once set, it will remember this setting and will keep it automatically set on this selection. You can always change this by selecting the dropdown again.

To search for certain playlists, you can use the search bar above the playlists.  You can search the playlists’ names.

MANAGE PLAYLIST SECTION FOR SINGLE USERS

There are a view options for single users on the manage playlist page.

You can preview a playlist by clicking on the play button on the left. If you select this, a pop-up will appear and the clips that are in the playlist will show. You can switch to the clip you want to view by clicking on it.

You can edit a playlist by clicking on the playlists’ name or by clicking on [Edit] after clicking on the icon to the right of the playlist.

In the columns you are able to find how many clips there are in a playlist and how long your playlist is below ‘item/length’, when the playlist was last modified below ‘last modified’, if the playlist is currently playing or not below ‘status’ (if it says ‘on air’ it is now active and if it says ‘not playing’ then it is not active) and what the orientation of your playlist is below ‘orientation’.

The playlist can be deleted by clicking on the icon on the right of the playlist and select [Delete].
