How do I create a Facebook template?

WHAT IS A FACEBOOK TEMPLATE?

We have a large supply of templates that an user can use to fill in with its own content. One of the categories of templates that we have, is social media. HOW DO I CREATE THE FACEBOOK TEMPLATE?

1. Go to [Create New Clip] on the dashboard.
2. Use the search tool or go to the category social media with the dropdown.
3. Choose a Facebook template, for example Facebook: group page and select [New Clip].
4. Fill in a name in the first step. This is a name that only is visible for you in the clip library; it will not become visible on screen.
5. In the next step you connect the template to your Facebook account. Klik on the log in text and a pop-up will appear with which you log in into your Facebook account. An overview of pages you can show will appear – pick one. If you don’t have a page yet, you will have to create one first.*
6. Give permission to show your content by putting the options on ‘yes’ and click ‘OK’ at the bottom.
7. Select [Save] in the last step.

HOW DOES THE FACEBOOK TEMPLATE WORK?

  • If a picture is present in the post, this picture will be shown.
  • If no picture is present in the post, the post will be shown over the full width of the template.
  • The message will be cut short after 300 characters to guarantee readability.
  • Font size is adjusted based on the amount of characters.
  • Shared posts will be shown in the widget, but without image or video because these are often of a low quality

* Hereby instructions how to create a page:

  • Log in to your Facebook account
  • Click on the arrow right on top next to your name
  • Select ‘create page’ and then what type of page you want to create
  • Create the page
